About The Position

Triad Metals, an industry leader in distributing structural steel, tubing, pipe, piling and plate products, is seeking a Project Manager (PM) to join their exceptional team. The PM is responsible for planning and allocating resources, scheduling work on equipment, and managing the expectations of Sales and customers in conjunction with operational objectives, goals, and labor constraints. This role is primarily focused on OEM parts and customers. The successful candidate will prepare estimates/quotes, monitor job progress, and keep stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent; 2- or 4-year degree preferred
  • 2 years of Project Mgmt experience required, preferably in the steel industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications: Excel, Work, Outlook
  • Proficiency in Math
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational skills
  • Travel required
  • Project Management Experience specific to the OEM Industry is required

Nice To Haves

  • CAD experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget
  • Read and understand documents and part drawings – CAD experience preferred; GD&T experience required
  • Lead the initiation and planning of a project and ensure technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Monitor and track the progress of the projects
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties for the flawless execution of projects
  • Manage relationships between the shop and stakeholders
  • Report and escalate to upper management as and when needed
  • Maintain a comprehensive project documentation within our ERP and Monday.com
  • Oversee all the technical aspects of the project
  • Identify the technical resources needed for the project and source these materials from third party vendors if necessary
  • Manage any subcontracted work including onsite visits
  • Work closely with Sales and Operations
