About The Position

The OEM Internal Sales Representative is responsible for supporting the OEM sales team with any requests they may have to help drive business and support our OEM customers. This will include assisting outside sales representatives by managing customer inquiries, processing sample orders, and maintaining customer relationships through phone and email communication. This role bridges communication between clients, sales managers, and internal departments to ensure smooth execution of sales operations.

Requirements

2-3 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development.
Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills; ability to translate complex product features into business value.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a high level of comfort using Excel for pricing models and PowerPoint for pitches.
Clear and persuasive communication skills are essential.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales software.
Ability to address customer issues and provide solutions.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
Provide detailed product information to help customers with purchasing decisions.
Process customer sample orders accurately and efficiently.
Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions.
Prepare sales materials and presentations for outside sales representatives.
Collaborate with the outside sales team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage loyalty.
Follow up on leads generated by the outside sales team to nurture potential sales opportunities.
Visit customers on occasion to enhance relationships and support the outside sales team.
Work closely with the New Product Development Project Manager to ensure alignment across the sales and product development functions.
