About The Position

Assemble parts per print for customer orders at the automatic bar machines in the assembly area. Set up, run, and rework bars per print in a timely manner for production purposes. Complies with current ISO requirements, all safety requirements, and good housekeeping.

Must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily and meet the physical demands to successfully perform the essential function of this job.
Employee must be able to perform basic reading, writing and mathematical functions.
Ability to read and write.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memorandums and correspondence.
Ability to communicate effectively with others both orally and in writing.
Basic mathematical skills are required.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Ability to understand and carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
Required to bend, stoop and lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
Specific vision abilities include close vision, color, distance, peripheral and ability to adjust focus.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up and run the bagger machine.
Packages product per requirements of the part print specifications, shop orders and inspection charts.
Place bars and warning label in bags.
May be required to work at any station to meet production requirements.
Performs at a level necessary to maintain production standards.
Inspects product to assure continued conformance to specifications.
Places completed product in shipping carton.
When required, performs rework to nonconforming product.
Completes all documentation associated with the operation.
Maintains the work station area in a clean, orderly and safe condition.
May be required to train any new employee assigned to the area.
Performs other duties as directed by supervisors
