About The Position
Sabates Eye Center is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible, ASOPRS-trained Oculoplastic Surgeon to join its growing ophthalmology practice in the Kansas City region. The position offers the opportunity to build a busy oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery practice within an established multi-specialty ophthalmology group, with clinical and surgical demand and a strong internal and regional referral network. The practice handles eyelid, lacrimal, orbital, and periocular disease, and the surgeon may develop cosmetic services based on their interests. The role includes collaboration with ophthalmic subspecialists and the opportunity to teach and mentor ophthalmology residents through the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC). The practice provides experienced clinical and surgical support and advanced facilities, with potential for long-term leadership, practice growth, and partnership. Compensation includes a competitive base salary with production incentives.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible physician.
- ASOPRS-trained Oculoplastic Surgeon.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and surgical care in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery.
- Treat eyelid, lacrimal, orbital, and periocular disease.
- Build and grow an oculoplastic practice within the multi-specialty ophthalmology group.
- Teach and mentor ophthalmology residents through the University of Missouri–Kansas City.
- Potentially develop cosmetic services based on physician interest.
