About The Position
Sabates Eye Center is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible, ASOPRS-trained Oculoplastic Surgeon to join its established and growing multi-specialty ophthalmology practice in the Kansas City region. The role offers the opportunity to build a busy oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery practice with immediate clinical and surgical demand, supported by an established patient base and strong internal and regional referral network. The practice includes a broad mix of functional and reconstructive oculoplastic surgery involving eyelid, lacrimal, orbital, and periocular disease. The physician may develop cosmetic services based on their interests. The role also offers academic involvement through collaboration with the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC), including teaching and mentoring ophthalmology residents. The position includes experienced clinical and surgical support, advanced facilities, and potential for long-term leadership, practice growth, and partnership.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in the relevant specialty.
- ASOPRS-trained Oculoplastic Surgeon.
Responsibilities
- Build and develop a busy oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery practice.
- Provide clinical and surgical care across eyelid, lacrimal, orbital, and periocular disease.
- Teach and mentor ophthalmology residents through the collaboration with UMKC.
- Develop cosmetic services based on physician interest, if desired.
