About The Position
The plant operator controls the dryer system in our FMD plant via a Scada system. They will also do various duties such as: Change out parts (motors, drives, belts, pumps, valves, instrumentation, screw conveyors, bucket elevators, etc.), preventative maintenance on all equipment, working with computers (Scada), oil changes, chemical storage and applications (polymer), sludge sampling, record keeping, plant rounds and observations, fire suppression, and inventory.
Requirements
- Ability to work an overnight shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening (including marijuana).
Responsibilities
- Controls the dryer system in the FMD plant via a Scada system.
- Changes out parts including motors, drives, belts, pumps, valves, instrumentation, screw conveyors, and bucket elevators.
- Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment.
- Works with computers, specifically Scada systems.
- Performs oil changes.
- Manages chemical storage and applications, specifically polymer.
- Conducts sludge sampling.
- Maintains record keeping.
- Conducts plant rounds and observations.
- Ensures fire suppression.
- Manages inventory.
