About The Position

We are seeking a hands-on OCM Practitioner to lead change management activities for a complex SAP implementation supporting ~50 field engineers. This role is a one-person OCM function responsible for stakeholder engagement, communications, training development, and adoption planning. The practitioner will work closely with the system integrator and internal SAP teams to ensure readiness for an October technical go-live, followed by end-user training and stabilization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of organizational change management experience (ERP/SAP preferred).
  • Proven ability to operate independently as a one-person OCM function.
  • Strong writing skills for communications and training content.
  • Experience developing training materials for technical or field-based users.
  • Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar SAP modules.
  • Experience working with system integrators.
  • Background supporting transitions from paper-based processes to digital systems.
  • Experience in utilities, engineering, or field services environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all OCM strategy and execution for the SAP deployment.
  • Build stakeholder maps, engagement plans, and readiness assessments.
  • Facilitate user demos and feedback sessions.
  • Align change activities with technical milestones and SI deliverables.
  • Write all project communications, including emails, newsletters, and readiness updates.
  • Produce clear, concise content tailored to field engineers transitioning from paper-based workflows to SAP.
  • Own the training plan and develop training materials (approx. 20–25 assets).
  • Deliver role-based training for ~50 end users with varying SAP experience.
  • Leverage in-house resources and SAP teams for SAP Basics content.
  • Support the model of technical go-live first, followed by end-user training.
  • Create job aids, quick reference guides, and workflow documentation.
  • Monitor adoption and adjust materials based on feedback.
  • Support hypercare and stabilization activities post-go-live.
  • Serve as the OCM point of contact for the system integrator.
  • Coordinate with SAP functional teams, project leadership, and field engineering managers.
