About The Position

Fr. Meyer's Sohn (FMS) is seeking an experienced Ocean Freight Sales Manager to drive new business across the U.S./Canada ↔ Europe and India Subcontinent (ISC) trade lanes. This role is ideal for a motivated sales hunter with freight forwarding experience and a passion for international logistics, offering an outstanding opportunity to grow your career while earning uncapped commissions. The position is remote and based in the U.S. or Canada.

Requirements

5+ years of ocean freight sales, freight forwarding, or logistics business development experience.
Proven success generating new business and exceeding sales targets.
Strong knowledge of Transatlantic and/or India Subcontinent (ISC) trade lanes.
Experience selling international ocean freight, including FCL and LCL services.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-driven and comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Develop and close new business opportunities for ocean freight services.
Sell FCL, LCL, and project cargo solutions to importers, exporters, manufacturers, and shippers.
Build long-term relationships with customers, carriers, and strategic partners.
Collaborate with pricing and operations teams to deliver competitive logistics solutions.
Manage a strong sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
Monitor freight rates, carrier capacity, and market trends to identify new opportunities.
Represent FMS at customer meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
