About The Position

This role is responsible for delivering the highest level of customer service to residents, hotel guests, and community visitors. The attendant will provide accurate and informative guidance on ocean awareness, ecology, environmental practices, water safety, and general knowledge of the region, ocean, and resort. They will assist in the facilitation and execution of aquatic programs, ensuring optimal utilization of facility offerings and supporting innovation in guest experiences. The role also involves promoting revenue-generating services by communicating program offerings, assisting with reservations, and upholding service standards. Maintaining required certifications, complying with safety protocols, and participating in ongoing training and evaluations are key. The attendant will contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork, reliability, and adherence to operational requirements, including participating in staff trainings and safety drills, and promptly resolving guest concerns. Completing incident reports, safety documentation, and equipment logs is also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

  • A high level of professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility within the team environment.
  • Effective organizational skills and the ability to work independently when necessary.
  • Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications, with the physical capability to perform all duties associated with ocean activity operations.
  • Previous experience in Ocean Activities, recreation, lifeguarding, or relevant roles.
  • Proficiency in communication, adherence to procedures, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including availability on weekends and holidays.
  • Fluency in English and legal authorization to work in the United States are required.

  • Promote and support revenue-generating services by effectively communicating program offerings, assisting with reservations, and upholding service standards for all Ocean Activities programs.
  • Maintain all required certifications and consistently comply with mandatory safety protocols and performance standards.
  • Participate in ongoing performance evaluations and training opportunities to support personal and departmental development.
  • Contribute to a positive and professional working environment by demonstrating strong teamwork, reliability, and adherence to operational requirements.
  • Participate in regular staff trainings and safety drills.
  • Assist in promptly resolving guest concerns with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Complete incident reports, safety documentation, and equipment logs as required.
