Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) – PRN
About The Position
Concept Rehab is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join their team on a PRN/as-needed basis in Cedarburg, WI. This role offers flexibility, a supportive therapy team, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference with patients. The OTA will provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, helping patients improve strength, mobility, cognition, functional skills, and independence with daily activities. Responsibilities include following individualized plans of care, monitoring patient progress, communicating with the care team, participating in meetings, providing education, and completing clinical documentation to help patients achieve greater independence and quality of life.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current Wisconsin OTA license/certification or ability to obtain
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused
- Current Wisconsin OTA licensure/certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Help patients improve strength, mobility, cognition, functional skills, and independence with daily activities
- Follow individualized plans of care and monitor patient progress
- Communicate with patients, families, nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the care team
- Participate in care plan and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and facility staff
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Help patients achieve greater independence and quality of life
