About The Position
HTS is searching for an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join their team at a continuing care retirement community in Vincennes, Indiana. The OTA will treat patients on an as needed, PRN basis, primarily covering vacations and other time off for regular staff. This role offers flexibility, allowing individuals to choose shifts based on their availability, making it ideal for supplementary work or a flexible employment option. Other HTS locations with occasional PRN needs include Freelandville, Odon, and Linton.
Requirements
- Active Indiana Occupational Therapy Assistant license or qualifications to earn Indiana license.
- Completion of a nationally accredited program.
- Passing of national licensure exam.
- Degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy assisting program.
- Passing of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®) examination.
- Fulfilling state requirements for licensure.
Responsibilities
- Treat patients on an as needed, PRN basis.
- Provide coverage for vacations and other time off for regular staff.
- Ensure operations continue to run smoothly and efficiently.
- Accept shifts based on availability.
