About The Position

Therapy Management Corporation is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients. Working under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, the assistant supports patients in improving functional independence, mobility, safety, and quality of life through personalized, patient-centered care. Requirements

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults.

Responsibilities

Provide personalized occupational therapy services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
Implement patient-centered treatment plans focused on activities of daily living, strength, mobility, and adaptive techniques.
Help patients improve their ability to perform daily tasks, including dressing, bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Partner with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and nursing staff to support patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans to individual rehabilitation needs.
