OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT - PRN
About The Position
Vertical Health Services is hiring a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for its in-house therapy team at Aurora Health and Rehab in Rolla, Missouri. The locally managed provider operates 16 rehabilitation facilities across Missouri. This role is based at one facility, with no travel between buildings, and offers supportive local leadership. The assistant helps deliver treatment plans to patients with diverse needs, including orthopedic and neurological conditions, short-term rehabilitation, and long-term care. Working under the direction of a supervising Occupational Therapist, the COTA supports patients’ functional independence, collaborates with an in-house interdisciplinary therapy team, documents care, tracks patient progress in line with skilled nursing facility standards, and uses current equipment and modalities. SNF experience is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Missouri, or eligibility for licensure.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach.
