About The Position

An Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting works under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain or improve their ability to perform daily living activities. This involves assisting with therapeutic exercises, teaching adaptive skills, and monitoring patient progress.

Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited school Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current license for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in state of employment
  • Must maintain current Provider BLS/CPR certification throughout employment
  • Experience working in an acute care or hospital setting is often expected or preferred
