We are currently seeking a committed and patient-focused Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide rehabilitation services in one of our locations.

Requirements

• Valid license to practice occupational therapy
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking skills, basic math skills.
• Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude

Nice To Haves

• Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides occupational therapy treatments to patients to facilitate increased independence and functioning under the supervision of a Licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Implements patient's individualized treatment plan as established by the primary Occupational Therapist
• Work with other members of the rehabilitation team to implement programs consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient
• Acts as an assistant to the Occupational Therapist when the Occupational Therapist is performing tests, evaluations, and complex procedures
• Instructs patients, families and other caregivers in the skills and techniques of the occupational therapy treatment program under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist
