About The Position

PAM Health is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to provide care to a diverse patient population in outpatient rehabilitation. Under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, the OTA provides direct patient care and plans and implements treatment programs for individual patients in accordance with occupational therapy principles and practices. The role requires flexibility to meet the needs of the system across different facilities. The ideal candidate has prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.

Requirements

• Must be licensed as an OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
• Current BLS certification is required.

• One year of clinical experience is preferred.
• Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to occupational therapy principles and practices.
• Work flexibly to meet the needs of the system across different facilities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
