About The Position

A Per Diem Occupational Therapy Assistant, (COTA/OTA), position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Marlborough, MA. Once hired as part of the PTS team, you may join as many of our other local PRN rosters as you wish. The facility is a bustling 144 bed sub-acute/skilled nursing facility in Marlborough, MA, specializing in the geriatric population in both sub-acute and long-term care domains. It features a large, beautiful rehab gym with a car simulator, kitchen, practice tub/shower and bathroom, ACP modalities, staircases, parallel bars, and a standing table. There is an expansive interdisciplinary team and great collaboration between disciplines to optimize patient outcomes and patient discharge planning. Requirements

  • Possess a current Occupational Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
  • Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
  • Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
  • Work well with others in a team setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
  • Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
