About The Position

Innovate Rehab and Wellness is hiring a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for PRN, as-needed work at Cassville Health Care Center, a skilled nursing facility in Cassville, Missouri. The COTA supports high-quality occupational therapy services and helps residents regain independence and improve their quality of life by delivering therapeutic interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The role offers flexible, as-needed shifts and emphasizes one-on-one patient care; group and concurrent treatments account for less than 1% of care. Requirements

Associate’s degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
Current NBCOT certification.
Valid state license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to patient-centered care and rehabilitation excellence.

Responsibilities

Implement treatment plans created by the Occupational Therapist.
Provide direct patient care in accordance with state and facility guidelines.
Monitor and document resident progress and report changes to the Occupational Therapist.
Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment.
Collaborate with nursing, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, and other healthcare staff.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Participate in care planning and discharge planning.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and applicable regulations.
