About The Position

Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Luxury Life Plan Community (CCRC) – Outpatient Focus. John Knox Village is a leading Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) known for its active, engaged residents and exceptional commitment to wellness. Our Outpatient Rehabilitation Program serves motivated seniors who want to stay strong, mobile, and independent—delivering therapy in a professional, well-equipped, and relationship-driven environment. While John Knox Village offers a full continuum of care, this position is dedicated specifically to outpatient services, allowing you to focus your expertise on active older adults without inpatient or SNF responsibilities. Aegis Therapies, one of the nation’s leading providers of rehabilitation and wellness services, is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Outpatient rehab team at John Knox Village. In this role, you will treat active, engaged seniors in a true outpatient setting, focusing on orthopedics, balance, mobility, strength, and fall prevention. You will build long-term therapeutic relationships with your patients and practice patient-centered, wellness-based care without high-pressure productivity standards. This is an ideal opportunity for therapists who enjoy outpatient care while still working with a geriatric population that is highly motivated and invested in their health.

Requirements

  • Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of Florida or ability to obtain prior to start
  • Interest in outpatient physical therapy and geriatric-focused care
  • Passion for helping older adults live active, independent lifestyles
