As an OTA, you will work under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist, providing occupational therapy services to patients/clients to assist in improving basic motor functions, reasoning abilities, and compensating for permanent loss of function by teaching patients/clients to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments. You may provide treatment to patients/clients with cognitive impairment, psychosocial dysfunction, and physical disability. You will also assist with patient/client and caregiver education.
