About The Position
PAM Health is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to care for its diverse patient population. The role provides direct patient care and plans and implements treatment programs for individual patients according to occupational therapy principles and practices, under the direction of an Occupational Therapist. The assistant must be flexible to meet the needs of the system across different facilities and may perform other related duties as assigned or requested. PAM Health cares for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Requirements
- Licensed as an OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Remain flexible to meet the needs of the system across different facilities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
