Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for Outpatient Pediatrics/Ortho Clinic (floater)
About The Position
Kinetic Edge Physical Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work on a prn basis in various outpatient pediatric/ortho clinics in central and south central Iowa. This role primarily focuses on pediatrics clients with sensorimotor processing challenges, but also includes adult clients with upper extremity orthopedic dysfunctions. The position offers excellent mentorship from a skilled occupational therapy team and is expected to grow into a full-time role. Requirements
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Ability to work on a prn basis.
- Willingness to work in various outpatient pediatric/ortho clinics in central and south central Iowa.
- Desire to work with both pediatrics and adult orthopedic populations.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to do things differently than the norm.
- Commitment to ensuring autonomy, mastery, and purpose for clients.

Responsibilities
- Work with pediatrics clients with sensorimotor processing challenges.
- Work with adult clients with upper extremity orthopedic dysfunctions.
- Provide active treatments focusing on functional enhancement, therapeutic play, and manual skills.
- Ensure continuity of care through personal and close-knit team treatments.
