About The Position

FOX Rehabilitation is hiring Occupational Therapists in Chester, Virginia, to provide one-on-one care to older adults in private residences and senior living communities through its Geriatric House Calls™ model. Clinicians help patients improve mobility, independence, wellness, and quality of life. The role offers autonomy to create and manage a treatment schedule and build lasting patient relationships. Telehealth and other virtual care may also be incorporated when appropriate. FOX is a clinician-operated practice focused on meaningful relationships, evidence-based care, and abolishing ageism. Clinicians work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment and may have opportunities for professional development, career advancement, mentoring, teaching, and additional compensation. Available employment pathways include full-time, part-time, and PRN/FOX Flex roles; benefits depend on role eligibility.

Requirements

Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including lifting, performing CPR, assisting with patient transfers and bed mobility, repositioning patients, standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities.
Ability to drive to patient homes and senior living communities.
Wear PPE when required.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one occupational therapy to older adults in private residences and senior living settings, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
Deliver therapy that supports patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence.
Document effectively in FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Fitness Specialists.
Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place.
Provide telehealth or virtual care when appropriate.
Create and manage a treatment schedule.
Drive to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls™ model.
