About The Position

Theracare is hiring an Occupational Therapist to provide school-based therapy services in the Wayne County School Systems. The position is part-time, approximately 1.5 days per week. Theracare is an employee-owned Indiana provider of contract physical, occupational, and speech therapy services, serving the community since 1996 and partnering with nursing homes and schools. Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy.
Current state license or certification.
Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to provide therapy services in a range of locations, including skilled nursing facilities, outpatient facilities, long-term care facilities, or home health care.
Competency in applying the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in occupational therapy.
Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

Nice To Haves

Preferably at least one year of experience in rehabilitation.
