About The Position
Theracare is currently seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to deliver exemplary care and enthusiasm in working with our adult population in the Home Health Care settings. This is potential areas of Plymouth, Culver and Walkerton.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current state license/certification
- Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
Nice To Haves
- Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
- New Graduates are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with the orders from the physician, through the use of a variety of therapeutic procedures designed to restore loss of muscle strength, coordination, body alignment, to relieve pain, improve movement and function.
- Work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Occupational Therapy.
