About The Position
Vibra Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join Vibra Hospital of Denver in Thornton, Colorado. The 54-bed critical care hospital provides acute care to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries, including those with medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wounds, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator dependence. The hospital describes its work environment as fast-paced and friendly, with opportunities to get to know patients and their families. The Occupational Therapist provides and directs occupational therapy services, including patient assessment and treatment, program planning and implementation, documentation, and communication. The role functions under physician orders.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy where accepted; a master's degree is required otherwise.
- NBCOT registration and licensure in accordance with the requirements of the state of practice.
- Current, valid, and active registration or license in the state of employment, as required.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of, and effects of use of, drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience preferred.
Responsibilities
