About The Position
Vibra Hospital of Boise is seeking a PRN/per diem Occupational Therapist. The hospital is a 40-bed critical care hospital in Boise, Idaho, providing acute care to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries, including medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wounds, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. It describes its work environment as fast-paced and friendly, with opportunities to get to know patients and their families. The Occupational Therapist provides and directs occupational therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, documentation, and communication. The role functions under physician orders.
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy where accepted; otherwise, a master's degree is required.
- NBCOT registration and a license meeting the requirements of the state of practice.
- Current, valid, and active registration or license meeting the requirements of the state of employment.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide and direct Occupational Therapy Services to patients.
- Assess and treat patients.
