Theracare is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a Part-time/PRN opportunity. This role involves providing skilled nursing facility services for short and long-term rehabilitation. Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current state license/certification
• Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care
• Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with physician's orders.
• Utilize therapeutic procedures and assistive devices to maximize functional potential in all areas of a patient's life.
• Work as a member of a team, providing support and information within the area of Occupational Therapy.
• Provide therapy services in various locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, or Home Health Care.
