About The Position
Arvin Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to evaluate, treat, and support residents in achieving greater independence and improved quality of life at its skilled nursing facility in Arvin, California. The role involves providing occupational therapy care, coordinating with the care team, and contributing to residents’ discharge planning. New graduates are welcome. The posting lists a pay range of $70–$75 per hour, based on experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
- Current California occupational therapist license.
- CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop customized treatment plans.
- Deliver hands-on occupational therapy care according to physician orders.
- Supervise and mentor COTAs and aides.
- Document resident progress and participate in team care planning.
- Support discharge planning with training and equipment recommendations.
