PRN Occupational Therapist - Acute Care
About The Position
PT Solutions is hiring Occupational Therapists to work with Adventist Health-St Helana, providing rehabilitation therapy services. The role involves delivering evidence-based, quality care to patients, establishing timely treatment plans, and fostering positive relationships with patients, families, clinicians, and hospital staff. The position is located in Napa Valley, California, within a 127-bed inpatient, acute care hospital that holds Advanced Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement and Advanced Primary Stroke Center Certifications. Clinicians will work with an interdisciplinary team to evaluate, treat, and reassess patients across all hospital areas.
Requirements
- Graduate of an ACOTE approved occupational therapy program
- Registered with NBCOT
- Current or pending state licensure
- Basic Life Support certification
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient empowering them to previous level of functioning or proceed to next level of care
- Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs
- Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc)
