The position is in partnership with CHRISTUS Santa Rosa - San Marcos, a 170-bed facility recognized as a Level 4 Trauma Center, an Accredited Chest Pain Center, and a Primary Stroke Center. Clinicians will evaluate, treat, and reassess patients in various hospital areas, including the intensive care unit, progressive care unit, medical-surgical unit, and outpatient surgery. The patient population is diverse, including orthopedics, neurological conditions, general surgery, pulmonary, and cardiac issues.

Requirements

Graduate of an ACOTE approved occupational therapy program
Registered with NBCOT
Current or pending state licensure
Basic Life Support certification

Responsibilities

Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient empowering them to previous level of functioning or proceed to next level of care
Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs
Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members
Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc)
