The Occupational Therapist independently evaluates, determines treatment strategies, and delivers or delegates services to maximize function in activities of daily living, leisure/recreation, and productivity/work. This role addresses dysfunction in psychosocial skills, cognition, and sensorimotor components through interventions and procedures to promote or enhance safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL), instrumental activities of daily living (IADL), education, work, play, leisure, and social participation.
