Requirements

• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active Occupational Therapist license in the State of Michigan
• Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
• Providing skilled occupational therapy services to improve function and independence
• Addressing activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, safety awareness, and adaptive equipment needs
• Collaborating with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, residents, and family members
• Maintaining accurate documentation, billing, and discharge planning
• Educating patients, caregivers, and staff to support positive outcomes
