About The Position

Theracare is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a part-time, consistent PRN position. The role involves evaluating and treating patients to maximize their functional potential in all areas of life, following physician's orders. The OT will work as part of a dynamic therapy team, providing support and information within the field of Occupational Therapy. Services will be delivered in various settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, and Home Health Care.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy
Current state license/certification
Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board
Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to provide therapy services in various locations (Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, Home Health Care)
Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements

Nice To Haves

Minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
