About The Position

Theracare is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a part-time, consistent PRN position within a charming skilled nursing community located at 2345 W. 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat patients according to physician's orders, utilizing therapeutic procedures and assistive devices to maximize functional potential in all aspects of a patient's life. This role involves working as part of a dynamic therapy team, providing support and information within the field of Occupational Therapy. Therapy services may be provided in various settings including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, or Home Health Care. The company emphasizes customer service and has partnerships with nursing homes in Indiana and schools nationwide. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current state license/certification
  • Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board
  • Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care
  • Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
