Life Care Center of Aurora provides rehabilitation services with mountain views from its rehabilitation gym and dining rooms. It is a choice for individuals needing short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, or post-operative recovery. The Occupational Therapist (OT) provides direct rehabilitation care in occupational therapy to patients upon physician referral, in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role involves following occupational treatment plans, establishing and modifying patient goals, overseeing care provided by OTAs, Rehab Aides, and students, charting appropriately, utilizing therapy software, exhibiting excellent customer service, assisting in patient evacuation, and demonstrating dependable attendance. The position requires concentration, reasoning skills, good judgment, and productive communication within an interdisciplinary team. Physical requirements include the ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours, and the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
