About The Position

Occupational Therapist (OT) – Outpatient Clinic | Full-time | Bluefield, VA. This role is for an Occupational Therapist passionate about helping children thrive while also maintaining a diverse outpatient caseload. The position is located in Bluefield, VA, and offers the opportunity to work primarily with pediatric patients in an outpatient setting while also supporting school-based services and treating select adult patients. This hybrid role offers clinical variety, mentorship opportunities, and the chance to make a meaningful impact across multiple settings. Experienced therapists in pediatrics or those looking to grow their pediatric skillset will be supported by a collaborative interdisciplinary team focused on compassionate, evidence-based care.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Current or eligible Virginia OT license
Passion for working with both pediatric and adult populations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Outpatient experience preferred, but new grads welcome to apply

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat primarily pediatric patients in an outpatient setting
Provide school-based supervision and collaboration as needed
Treat a smaller caseload of adult outpatient patients
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence, sensory processing, fine motor skills, ADLs, and participation in daily activities
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs and progress strategies
Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team including Physical Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists
Maintain timely and accurate documentation within EMR systems
