About The Position
Pediatric Developmental Services is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to provide school-based occupational therapy services to children. The role focuses on helping students succeed in school and beyond through high-quality services based on their IEPs and 504 plans. The Occupational Therapist conducts evaluations and assessments, writes reports, and identifies students’ strengths and areas of concern, including fine motor skills and handwriting. PDS provides therapist support through a tailored mentorship program.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- State Occupational Therapy license. PDS’s licensing team can help candidates obtain a license for a specific state.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to students based on their IEPs and 504 plans.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments.
- Write reports identifying students’ strengths and areas of concern, including in fine motor skills and handwriting.
