About The Position

A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT/OTR) position is available in the sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department at Kennebunk Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Kennebunk, Maine. This facility is a 78-bed skilled nursing facility that has been newly renovated and is conveniently located near the Maine Turnpike, restaurants, shopping centers, and is a short drive to the ocean. The center is a fast-paced environment where you will be working with the geriatric population, treating both short-term and long-term care patients. The rehab team consists of occupational therapists, physical therapists, a speech therapist, and a supportive rehab director. Preferred Therapy Solutions, the company operating the center, is owned and operated by therapists, focuses on ethical patient care, and understands the needs of therapists for success and a healthy work-life balance.

Requirements

• Possess a current Occupational Therapy license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed

• Experience with electronic documentation

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting
• Be flexible with hours
