About The Position

A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT/OTR) position is available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Rockland, ME. Our newly built, state-of-the-art skilled nursing facility in beautiful Rockland, Maine, offers a warm and supportive environment for our residents. Breakwater Commons specializes in post-acute rehab, long-term care, and memory care services. Our facility is proud to offer stunning ocean views, private rooms, a close-knit rehab team, and a culture focused on collaborative care and compassionate service. You will play an integral role in the rehabilitation of patients with diverse medical diagnosis. You will provide individualized therapy services in a collaborative, team-oriented setting, working closely with nurses, physicians, and other rehabilitation professionals. Requirements

• Possess a current Occupational Therapist license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting
