Occupational Therapist Home Health Care
About The Position
Indian River Home Care is seeking a per-diem Occupational Therapist to provide home visits as part of its Medicare-certified, concierge-style home health care services. The therapist assesses patients’ needs and provides care according to their needs and goals, working autonomously with support from a close-knit team of clinicians. The role involves approximately 15–20 visits or hours per week, with a weekday schedule from Monday through Friday. Work is performed in patients’ homes and in person. Pay is $90 per regular visit, $95 per re-evaluation, and $120 per start of care. Employment requires background screening through AHCA.
Requirements
- Valid Occupational Therapist license.
- CPR certification.
- At least 1 year of occupational therapy experience.
- Experience with EMR software and home care.
- Flexible mentality.
- Patient-focused attitude.
- Pass the required AHCA background screening.
