About The Position

Avante at Inverness Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Full-time and Part-Time Occupational Therapist to oversee and coordinate resident assessments, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role involves providing and directing services to residents, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication, all under physicians' orders.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Successful completion of National Certification Examination for O.T.R.
Current state licensure or license eligible.
0-3 years of long-term care experience.
Background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

Assess residents in need of skilled occupational therapy intervention.
Interpret and communicate results of assessments.
Design and execute appropriate treatment plans.
Document daily care as per established guidelines.
Provide and direct services to residents, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication.
Oversee and coordinate resident assessments, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
