About The Position

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is a nationally ranked academic, quaternary care system based in Chicago's western suburbs. The Occupational Therapist evaluates inpatients and/or outpatients with diverse diagnoses and plans and implements effective occupational therapy programs based on assessment, clinical judgment, and psychological sensitivity. The position provides patient education, consultation, and discharge planning, and supervises and delegates patient care to Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants, Rehab Technicians, and Occupational Therapy students. The therapist also supports the growth of Occupational Therapy Services by assisting with new program development and outcomes or research activities, and serves as an operational and clinical resource for staff in areas of expertise.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (CPR).
• Illinois licensure as an Occupational Therapist.

• 1–3 years of job-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities
