About The Position

Reporting to the Manager, the Occupational Therapist – Degree is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team of the Kinetik Rehabilitation Services Department. The Occupational Therapist – Degree will be responsible for the delivery of quality assessment and treatment including functional evaluation, physical reconditioning, work hardening, functional activity simulation, vocational reintegration, hand therapy, and education for clients with musculoskeletal injuries. The incumbent will perform worksite and ergonomic assessment, including in an industrial environment.

Requirements

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Intermediate - Communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Requires concentration and attention for treatment, teaching and report writing
Ability to plan/organize/coordinate with other multidisciplinary team members
Requires coping skills to work w/clients dealing with stress/psychosocial issues
Registered/eligible with Canadian Association of Occupational Therapy (CAOT)
Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists

Responsibilities
