About The Position
PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist for its home health care team in Mesquite, Texas. The therapist partners with patients in their homes to support recovery, restore mobility, enhance functional abilities, and improve independence and quality of life. The role promotes health, prevents disability, and provides hands-on interventions tailored to individual needs. The therapist provides skilled services to homebound clients who qualify for Medicare coverage.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Texas.
- Current professional liability insurance for practice in Texas.
- Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively manage a variety of patient personalities.
- Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices and therapeutic techniques.
- Professional, compassionate demeanor and excellent communication skills.

- Previous experience in home health or rehabilitation settings.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient conditions and create individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic strategies to improve daily living and motor skills.
- Educate patients and families on techniques that support recovery and independence.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed.
