About The Position

FOX Rehabilitation is hiring Occupational Therapists to provide one-on-one care to older adults in Brookline, Massachusetts, and surrounding communities. Care is delivered in patients’ private residences and Senior Living Communities, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care settings. The position is partially located in a Senior Living Community and may include telehealth or other virtual care when appropriate. Clinicians perform evaluations, create individualized plans of care, and provide evidence-based treatment to support wellness, mobility, longevity, and functional independence. They document in FOX’s EMR system, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff. The role offers clinician autonomy to create and manage a treatment schedule and build lasting patient relationships. Employment pathways listed include full-time, part-time, and PRN/FOX Flex roles; new graduates may be eligible for the Emerging Professionals Mentor Program. Requirements

Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including lifting, performing CPR, assisting with patient transfers and bed mobility, repositioning patients, standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities.
Ability to drive to patient homes and senior living communities.
Ability to wear PPE when required.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one occupational therapy to older adults in private residences and senior living settings.
Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
Deliver therapy sessions that support patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence.
Document effectively in FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and Fitness Specialists.
Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place.
Provide telehealth or virtual care when appropriate.
Drive to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls model.
Potentially supervise PTA/OTAs, mentor emerging professionals, teach as a Clinical Instructor, and contribute written or social media content for additional compensation.
