About The Position

FOX Rehabilitation is seeking licensed Occupational Therapists to provide one-on-one care to older adults in private residences and senior living communities in and around Irving, Texas. Clinicians use the Geriatric House Calls™ model to help patients improve mobility, independence, wellness, and quality of life. The role offers autonomy to create and manage a treatment schedule and build lasting patient relationships. Clinicians may also incorporate telehealth and other virtual care into their schedules. FOX is a clinician-operated practice focused on meaningful relationships, evidence-based care, and a mission to abolish ageism. Occupational Therapists collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff. Employment options described include full-time, part-time, and PRN/FOX Flex roles; benefits depend on role eligibility. New graduates may be eligible for the Emerging Professionals Mentor Program.

Requirements

Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including lifting, performing CPR, assisting with patient transfers and bed mobility, repositioning patients, standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities.
Ability to wear PPE when required.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one occupational therapy to older adults in private residences and senior living settings, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
Provide therapy sessions supporting patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence.
Document in FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and Fitness Specialists.
Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place.
Provide telehealth or virtual care when appropriate.
Drive to patient homes and senior living communities to provide care.
