About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team in Battle Creek, MI. This is a great opportunity for an OT who enjoys working collaboratively with patients and an interdisciplinary care team while helping individuals achieve greater independence and quality of life.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current Michigan OT license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
Nice To Haves
- Previous rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Provide skilled OT services based on patient needs and goals
- Implement therapeutic activities to improve function, mobility, and independence
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Complete timely and accurate documentation
- Collaborate with PT, SLP, nursing, physicians, and other members of the care team
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers as appropriate
