About The Position
PAM Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide care for a diverse patient population, including chronically and critically ill patients who need extended hospital care. The role focuses on direct patient care and planning and implementing age-appropriate treatment programs for individual patients in accordance with occupational therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health System. The Occupational Therapist will also contribute to further development of services and must be flexible to meet system needs across different facilities. Prior inpatient hospital experience or a commitment and desire to learn is welcomed.
Requirements
- Current occupational therapy license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate treatment programs for individual patients according to occupational therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System.
- Participate in the further development of services.
- Be flexible in meeting system needs across different facilities.
