About The Position
AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital - Covington is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to evaluate patients’ rehabilitation potential, establish realistic goals, and plan and administer individualized treatment programs suited to each patient’s functional capacity and tolerance. Occupational Therapy treatments and modalities must follow established policies and procedures while maintaining a high quality of patient care. The position offers a flexible schedule with variable day shifts and is based at the hospital on the second floor of Lakeview Medical Pavilion in Covington, Louisiana.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy school.
- Current Louisiana State License in good standing.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic computer knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ rehabilitation potential.
- Establish realistic treatment goals.
- Plan and administer treatment programs that meet each patient’s functional capacity and tolerance.
- Provide Occupational Therapy treatments and modalities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
